Everett: The Funny Kid

My dad came out to see us on Sunday and while he was here he was trying to talk Everett into going poop on the potty. While he was here I pulled out my Christmas decor and pulled out some stuffed snowmen and Everett just loves them! So, my dad would say to Everett, "You going to go poop on the potty? Snowmen poop on the potty." Everett just kept telling him no. Well, we made a quick trip into Utah on Tuesday and Wednesday we saw my dad. He asked Everett again if he was going to poop on the potty and Everett said, "Snowmen do." Later on that day during our ride back home Everett was talking about poop. So, I asked him if he pooped and he said, "Snowmen poop in the potty." Then, today I was asking him what snowmen do and he would tell me they poop in the potty!!! So, thanks dad! Now Everett is putting the snowmen on his little potty!

Another funny...When Everett is throwing a fit we give him the option to quit or he goes to his bed until he is ready to be done. Well, he was throwing one the other day and Rex said, "Do you want to go to bed?" Everett said, " Bed?? Stop crying." And he stopped and went on about his business.

Last night we were getting our Jamma's on and Everett was trying to say Momma Jammas but it sounded like "Momma Dumba$$." He kept saying over and over so, Rex and I were laughing pretty hard!

He likes to grab Monte's hand and squeeze it and sometimes he cries, but when he grabs his hand he says, "Gotcha!" He will also say it when he rams a toy into another!

Lately, he has been trying to sing Once there was a Snowman and Popcorn Popping. All he knows of Once there was a Snowman was the Snowman, Snowman, Snowman part. Then Popcorn Popping he says, "Potcorn Apricop Tee" and does the popping hand motions with his hands. It is pretty darn cute if you ask me!

While my dad was here he gave Everett a couple of his real estate business cards and when we got back from our Utah trip Everett found one on the floor in the front room. He picked it up and said, "Grandpa Doe. Grandpa Doe ride the horse." He then took my dad's card and put it on the seat of the rocking horse. He then said, "Grandpa Doe hold the reins." He lifted the card to the reins and was trying to get it to stay there, but it fell down and he said, "Grandpa Doe fall off." What a funny boy! He also tries to make his stuffed animals and especially the snowmen ride the horse!
